Lecomte Awarded Outstanding Trucker Buddy.
“Hello, my name is Amber Matts a fourth grade teachers at Healthy Learning Academy located in Newberry, Florida. I have had the absolute pleasure of sharing my fourth graders with one your Trucker Buddies. I say “share” because she teaches them just as much as I do. Angela Lecomte has been my Trucker Buddy for four years and I refuse to give her up each year. Angela has gone out of her way to only teach but through me to befriend my students. She sends us informational post cards from each state she visits. She will also send us food items to try that are local to the places she visits. Most of my students have never left our state so Angela is opening up a whole new world for them. Angela also emails weekly with pictures from various places she drives through. These pictures intrigue my students and they want to research more. Angel sent us an Atlas so we can “plan” her routes for her. The possibilities are endless. I could literally write an entire novel about how fortunate I was to be given Angela as a Trucker Buddy many years ago. Please consider Angela Lecomte as an Outstanding Driver! She has already won this nomination in our hearts but it would mean the world to my students if she won this title in real life.”
